Wheel Indicated Speed Panel for Forza Horizon 6

Follow these checks in order. They separate a Data Out problem from a HUD that is hidden or off-screen.

Overlay not showing

Find the first failed check

  1. 01

    Confirm that Wisp receives packets

    Open Diagnostics while actively driving. Packet rate should be non-zero and packet age should stay low. If both remain idle, fix Data Out before changing the overlay.

  2. 02

    Match the address and port

    Use the loopback address shown in Wisp and the same port in FH6. Another telemetry application cannot bind that local port at the same time.

  3. 03

    Leave game menus

    Wisp hides the driving HUD when driving is not active. Return to the road before checking the speedometer or attached gauges.

  4. 04

    Recover the HUD position

    Unlock the overlay, restore or move it onto the active display, then lock it again before driving.

  5. 05

    Check display mode

    Make sure the selected Wisp layout is enabled and the stock FH6 speedometer setting matches the instructions shown in Appearance.

Native gauges

Boost pressure and tire temperature

Both gauges use standard FH6 Data Out values. Set attachment, scale, and units in Appearance, and customize colors in Extras.

Boost gauge

The boost-gauge toggle shows a stationary zero gauge on naturally aspirated cars. Electric vehicles never show it. Pressure readings begin after positive boost is detected for the car. Enable Show vacuum pressure in Appearance > Boost to include negative pressure reported by FH6; the option is off by default.

Tire-temperature gauge

Front is the average of the two front tires. Rear is the average of the two rear tires. The display runs from 50°F to 350°F and holds both the marker and number at the upper end when FH6 reports a higher temperature. Fahrenheit and Celsius are available.

To report a problem, enable local debug logging in Diagnostics, reproduce it, and export the debug ZIP. Include when it happened and what you were doing. Review the report before attaching it to an issue; Wisp does not upload it for you.
